EBGC Volunteer raises £1,500
for Young People in Essex!

A group of Fundraisers and Volunteers once again took on the ‘3 Peaks Challenge’, raising money for young people in Essex and East London. As we do every year, we are always greateful for the group of hard working individuals to take on this incredible challenge and comeplete it within a 36 hour period.

But this year, there’s a special thank you to Justin Latimer, who raised £1,581 for the Essex Boys and Girls Clubs. Labelled by himself “A Challenge without merchy!”, being able to raise such a significant amount of money and take on the physical challenges that come with taking on the 3 highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales. Walking the equivalent of a marathon whilst also climbing over 10,000 feet, physically it is not to be underestimated, and being able to complete it is an incredible achievement. This money will be crucial to supporting the beneficiaries of the clubs we work with, and the projects we run.

Also a huge thank you to everyone that took part, we know how difficult this challenge can be and we are privileged to be able to provide the opportunity to do it every year!
